The place of the vegetable garden
Before you start, you first look for a place for the ideal vegetable garden. The most suitable place for a vegetable garden is in the sun. Your vegetable garden must be protected against wind and weather so that your plants do not suffer. Does your garden suffer from the wind? Then choose to place a hedge around it. The hedge protects your vegetable garden from the wind.
A moist slightly acidic soil is a suitable soil for a vegetable garden. If the soil is not good, you can use compost. Compost gives the plants in your vegetable garden extra nutrition and it is very good for the plants.
Don’t run too fast!
No experience with a vegetable garden yet? Then don’t run too fast in the beginning. It often happens that beginners immediately start with a vegetable garden that is too large. You better start small. People sometimes misjudge how much time is spent in a vegetable garden. Therefore, start with an area of about 10 square meters. It is no use having a large vegetable garden that is not fertile at all. So start with a small vegetable garden that will benefit you. As you know more about it, it is always possible to expand later.
